Claus Thomas

European Director - LaSalle Investment Management

Claus Thomas is based in the German office of LaSalle Investment Management in Munich and is responsible for Client Services in the German speaking countries (Germany, Switzerland, Austria).

Before joining LaSalle Investment Management in 1999, Mr Thomas worked for Jones Lang Wootton (1996-1999) where, as a Partner and Geschäftsführer, he was responsible for German investors investing in real estate outside Germany. From 1991 to 1996 he worked in the domestic investment team of Jones Lang Wootton, Munich and Frankfurt, and prior to that worked for 7 years with a Munich-based agency and consultancy firm for residential development and investments. He started his career in Real estate in 1984.

Claus holds various titles from German property education and studies including Fachwirt der Grundstücks- und Wohnungswirtschaft and Immobilienökonom (ebs). He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS).
