David Ironside

International Director - LaSalle Investment Management

David Ironside is Head of Continental European acquisitions.

David joined LaSalle in July 2001 after four years with Bayernfonds/Real I.S. AG, and was initially responsible for acquisitions in Northern Continental Europe. At Bayernfonds, David was responsible for foreign acquisitions. In this role he was in charge of acquiring properties in the USA as well as major European countries such as France, Belgium and Spain for various investment purposes. Prior to his role at Bayernfonds (1990 – 1997) David was with Jones Lang Wootton (now Jones Lang LaSalle) where he gained detailed knowledge of the German markets.

David holds a BSc in Land Economics with Commendation from Paisley College of Technology.

He is also a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
